Let’s use SMS BANKING’ for this illustration.
When you click on SMS BANKING the window in the image below opens.
- . Input Reg Number and recipient account number.
After you download, install and register on Pro Bank you get a wallet. Note that you will need a phone number after you download pro bank to be able to register and create a wallet.
Note: Use a new SIM card not registered under your name.
That number will be used to generate the SMS too. Don’t worry, it won’t reveal the number to the recipient(s).
After typing in the number, type the receiving account number below and hit Next.

By this time you might have asked the receiver ‘which bank are you using?’ once he gives you his bank name input the code into the space provided and add an extra ‘0.’
To use this app you need to be sharp. You need to have the banking codes of all the conventional banks in Nigeria. If you cannot cram them save them as Note on your phone. But in all you do make sure this codes are handy.
If you mistakenly type in a different bank code other than that of the receiver’s bank then just know that you will chop beatings. Someone cannot be using Zenith Bank and you are sending him alert with UBA. U go collect. So make sure you use the right banking code.
This Banking Code is the ussd banking code. Banking codes are usually 3 digits_ what you need to do is to add ‘0’ after punching in the code for the corresponding bank accounts.
For example, GTBANK Banking code is *737#. Just type 7370 and hit continue.
- Type in the amount and your Pin.
The next window is where you will include the amount, your PIN and viola. The app will generate a fake alert using bots to update the current balance of the receiver with the selected figure you sent. Only, this is not real money, and if the receiver logs into his mobile banking the money will not reflect there.
Once pin is punched in, the software creates a fake alert and sends it to the bank details provided.
The fake bank alert sent comes in the exact manner a real bank alert comes in the slight difference is that in the description you will see PROBANK.
Sometimes the receiver may take the PROBANK to be the name of the bank you are using and won’t even notice. If you will like to leave it that way then cool.
